How It Works
Paste the Video Link
Paste the link to the video you want comments from in the box above. A full link and a short share link from the app both work.
Check the Comments
The video opens with its comments below it, so you can see what the export will include.
Export
Press Export comments and pick CSV or Excel. Choose All or Top 1,000 and whether to include replies, then press Start export.
What the File Contains
Each comment gets its own row, with these columns: Comment ID, Reply to comment ID, Username, Nickname, Profile URL, Comment, Likes, Replies, Posted (UTC), Language, Pinned by creator, Liked by creator and Image URLs.
When you include replies, each one sits right under the comment it answers, and its Reply to comment ID holds that comment's ID, so threads stay together when you sort or filter. Image URLs lists any photos attached to a comment.
The CSV file is saved as UTF-8 with a byte order mark, so accents and emoji show up correctly in Excel and Google Sheets. In the Excel file, the header row stays in place as you scroll.
How the Export Works
The export runs in your browser tab. It fetches the comments from our server page by page, with the replies of a few comments at a time, and builds the file as it goes.
Keep the tab open and on screen until the file saves. The file is never stored on our servers.
Before your first export, a quick automatic check makes sure you're a person, and most people never notice it. After that, exports in the same tab skip the check for 30 minutes.
An export can run for up to 2 hours. If it stops early, or you press Stop and save, you still get everything fetched so far and can resume it later in the same browser.
Why the File Has Fewer Rows Than the Video Shows
An export usually has fewer rows than the comment count on the video. That count includes replies as well as top-level comments, so a file without replies will come up short.
It also includes comments that are filtered or hidden. Creators can filter out spam, offensive comments or comments with certain keywords, and those stay hidden until the creator approves them, so no export can include them.
The file has the comments TikTok shows publicly on the video while the export runs.

Missing a feature, or something didn't work?
How do I export TikTok comments to Excel?
Paste the video's link above to open it here. Then press Export comments, choose Excel and press Start export. You'll get an .xlsx file with a frozen header row.
Can I export TikTok comments to CSV for Google Sheets?
Yes. Choose CSV and the file opens in Google Sheets as well as Excel. It's saved as UTF-8 with a byte order mark, so names and comments in any language show up correctly.
Is the TikTok comment exporter free? Are there limits?
Yes, it's free. You can run up to 30 exports a day. A long export keeps going for up to 2 hours, and each half hour of it counts as one export. There's no fixed cap on how many comments a file can hold.
Can I include replies?
Yes. Include replies is turned on by default. Each reply shows up right under the comment it answers, with that comment's ID in the Reply to comment ID column.
What happens if the export stops partway?
You still get a file. Whether you press Stop and save, the 2 hours run out or TikTok stops responding, everything fetched up to that point is saved. Press Export again to resume from where it stopped.
Do you keep a copy of my export?
No. The file is built in your browser and saved straight to your device. Export files are never stored on our servers.
Can I export followers, videos or reposts too?
Yes. On a profile, the Videos, Reposts, Followers and Following tabs each have an export button, with the same choice of CSV or Excel.
